I also want to share this reasonably good list published by Business Insider. There are basically two types of juicers:
A centrifugal juicer delivers higher speeds and is generally cheaper. This type can have problems pressing leafy vegetables.
A masticating juice extractor. A little more expensive gives a higher yield and is much quieter.
Prepare the juices
Before you switch on your juicer, make sure it has been properly cleaned. This helps prevent cases of food poisoning. You must also thoroughly clean all fruits and vegetables before you make the juice.
Do I need organic fruit and vegetables?
Yes. Don't forget to choose high quality ingredients. And where possible use only organically produced fruit and vegetables, because they do not contain any agricultural chemicals. Absolutely no processed foods. It is also good to look for a wide range of ingredients to get different flavor combinations and nutrients. Always start with simple recipes to get your desired taste or taste. For example, try a simple drink based on orange juice with fresh oranges.
Can I keep my juices in the fridge?
Fresh juice is always the best. If there is something left, it is wise to keep it in airtight containers or in the refrigerator. But if there is more fruit or vegetable juice after 24 hours, it is best to throw this away. Finally, thoroughly clean all your juicing equipment after completion. Many juice extractors can still hold pulp from pressed ingredients, which can lead to the growth of fungi or bacteria.

There are countless juice recipes for weight loss. Below is one of my personal favorites. It's just a simple green juice, but the effects are amazing. Give it a try!
The green juice recipe
Green juices are a perfect way to take your fair share of green vegetables. These juices are usually made from spinach, broccoli, kale, cucumber, sliced lettuce and celery. To add taste, taste and proportions if needed. The inclusion of fruits such as pears and green apples also helps to sweeten the juice.
- Two cucumbers, which must be peeled if they are not organic
- A large handful of kale and sweet pea sprouts.
- 5 stalks of celery and 1 or 2 broccoli stalks
- 1-inch piece of freshly cut ginger and 1 green apple or pear
- You can also add other optional vegetables that you prefer, such as spinach or parsley
- Wash and prepare all ingredients
- If possible, cut the ingredients into smaller pieces for better juice formation
- Juice all ingredients
- Place the mixture in a fine sieve and use a spatula to press it down
- Discard the pulp and pour the juice that is ready to drink.
This green juice is rich in vitamins A, C and K from celery, broccoli, sweet pea sprouts and kale. These nutrients help increase the body's ability to fight disease. It is also rich in polyphenols from apples and it has anti-inflammatory benefits of fresh ginger.
What else do I need to know?
Juicers must also be careful with excessive exercise. This is important because general energy levels can fall as soon as you start making juice. That said, moderate exercise is essential because the juices can raise your blood sugar levels.
You may need to adjust
Note that during the juice period your body may be too sensitive to stimuli. You may experience problems such as headache and fatigue. Stay on your fixed schedule at least every 2 to 3 weeks. Changing the routine can change your energy and sugar levels. This can have a negative impact on your energy.
