Researchers have also found that the phytonutrients called curcubitacins A, B, C, D and E in cucumbers inhibit the development of cancer cells and the survival of cancer cells.

Cucumber seeds contain various phytonutrients, including carotenoids and flavonoids. In a study in people with slightly elevated blood fats, experienced consumption of dried cucumber seed extract over a period of 6 weeks lowered total cholesterol, lower LDL, lower triglycerides and increased HDL.

The amount of dried cucumber seeds that they consumed every day was about the same as what you would eat in a cup of fresh cucumber. So make sure and press those seeds!

Cucumber juice mixes
