  • 3 apples
  • 1 stem broccoli (optional)
  • 1/2 lemon (optional)

How to make

  1. Wash the fruit and vegetables with water and a hard vegetable brush. Keep the leaves on the celery.
  2. Core the apples.
  3. Cut the zest of the lemon – some people like to leave this, but I think this makes the juice too bitter.
  4. Cut the fruit and vegetables into slices that match your juicer.
  5. Juice and enjoy.

Celery is not a juice that I drink alone. It is wonderfully mixed with carrot and apple juice.
