The pomegranate, a secret of natural and ancestral beauty
Rather rare in our latitudes, the grenadier grows along the Mediterranean and in the Near East, and gives a round fruit filled with juicy grains, with a slightly tart flavor, the grenade. Pomegranate has been cultivated since ancient times, and from the Middle East to India this fruit is considered a natural beauty secret. Because under its curves, it hides an impressive list of virtues. Japanese, American, Israeli, Indian, studies about it are multiplying: with green tea and grapes, it would be part of the top 3 most powerful antioxidants. In the pomegranate, nothing is to be thrown away. Skin and tannin (present in the bark and seeds) all have antioxidant properties. On the health side, researchers have also found anti-atherosclerosis, anticancer (including skin cancer), healing, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial powers.
A rejuvenating cocktail for the skin

Regenerating. And especially the seeds make it possible to obtain an oil regenerative properties for the skin. This one is able to stimulate the cellular renewal and to reduce the pigmentary tasks ".
Antioxidant. The cosmetic virtues of pomegranate on the skin do not stop there. It is also an excellent antioxidant thanks to the presence of polyphenols and vitamin E.
Firming. Evelyne Guérin also points out "its great richness in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic, punicic, oleic and linoleic acid) with particularly advantageous moisturizing and softening properties as well as phytosterols, known to stimulate collagen synthesis".
